A couple of years back I started to notice that scrambling up river banks and over fences and logs was getting a bit harder (I had hit my forties).  It upset me to think that I might have to stop or slow down fishing in some of the remote locations I head to. About that time my wife asked me to come to her Yoga class as they did not have enough people and the class would have to be cancelled.

The class was run by a lady in her fifties, she was amazingly flexible and strong. I found it really challenging - I mean I couldnt sit cross legged on the floor or touch my toes.  She told me not to worry as she had started yoga when she was older than I .

So now two years later fishing is easier and I am moving like I was when I was in my thirties.  So I'd really reccomend it to anyone.  It really seems to have turned back the clock for me.  It is a really good combination of exercises that improve flexibility movbility strength and general fitness.

Cheers Ian
