Re: [VFB] Gill Getter Pattern(s)Allan: Thanks.. I have them printed out now.. BTW, on that Calcasieu Pigboat you tied for the Tom Nixon memorial swap, how do you get 56-72 rubber legs tied in??? I mean, do you get a bass skirt and tie it in?? Or do you tie in a few at a time??? I saw those, and now wanna try some of them too, Thanks again, Chuck
BTW, from looking at the various flies from the Tom NixonMemorial swap (swap #1 I think it is). I take it that Tom must have been an avid Bass fisherman??? If so, did he write any books on that subject??? ----- Original Message ----- From: Allan Fish To: [email protected] Sent: Friday, February 16, 2007 12:33 PM Subject: Re: [VFB] Gill Getter Pattern(s) Folks: I had some "Gill getter" flies last year, that I THINK had a chenille body, rubber legs, and say, a squirrel tail tail.. Anybody have a pattern like this??? I have searched VFB, FAOL and Google and can't seem to find the exact one I'm hunting..
