I decided to go and see my mate who was fishing on Thursday and being a nice day here in England I thought I would take the fly rod just in case the carp were up on the surface, well they were and in an hour and a half I had six the smallest about 3lb and the best one going 15lb all taken on a deer hair fly clipped to look like a small dog biscuit. I am still reliving that fish as it,s my best Carp on the fly so far.
I am off to Australia on Sunday for 3 weeks to see my son and of course get some fishing in at the same time.( Perth ) Tight Lines Birdie
