Chuck

In England we have dog buscuits made by pedigree and are called chum mixers,
they are about double the size of a pea.

I normally throw a few in to get the carp taking them off the surface then cast
my deer hair buscuit lookalike in amongst them. Works best on a nice sunny day
and preferably not too much wind.

I am signing out till i get back from oz but let me know when you get your
first one.

Birdie.. I am still HOPING to get my first carp on a fly .. My wife and i
were out on a lake fishing this Tuesday, and carp were rolling, and one was
RIGHT by the boat.. He had to be at least 40 pounds.. I took one pretty decent
pic.. He was a MONSTER... Just rolling over and over in the water.. I could not
imagine actually hooking him LOL, Chuck

I decided to go and see my mate who was fishing on Thursday and being a
nice day here in England I thought I would take the fly rod just in case the
carp were up on the surface, well they were and in an hour and a half I had
six the smallest about 3lb and the best one going 15lb all taken on a deer hair
fly clipped to look like a small dog biscuit.
I am still reliving that fish as it,s my best Carp on the fly so far.

I am off to Australia on Sunday for 3 weeks to see my son and of course get
some fishing in at the same time.( Perth )
