If you find out - please let me know as I went bass fishing with my son last
Sunday. We are at the northern edge of bass (largemouth) availability. Most
bass in this neighbourhood are the result of illegal stocking. Anyhow, for
spring it has been pretty cool here. I caught one bass about 4 inches long
on a crappie lure. The place I fished appeared to be absolutely dead
although I'm sure the fish were there somewhere. It's far too early and too
cool for any topwater action, but I thought that I would find something in
the depths but nothing!

I have a question about early bass fishing. I live on a small lake near
Seattle. the lake has some nice bass but I never know when to start fishing
for them. Are there some temperature guidelines? For example, XX degrees
they go on the feed, XX degrees spurs spawning?

Thanks,
