Jay: I think some of that depends on where you live.. On what the water temp low and high is..Here (In Alabama) Most Gamefish start to spawn when the water temp reaches 65 degrees for bluegills, and maybe a few degrees cooler for Bass..The optimum water temp for bluegills here to feed, is 60-80 degrees water temp, with the bass being a little cooler than that...They (bass) will bite when the water temp is in the 50's easily, cause they had the Bassmasters Championship here about 60 miles from Me, back this past February... I have a question about early bass fishing. I live on a small lake near Seattle. the lake has some nice bass but I never know when to start fishing for them. Are there some temperature guidelines? For example, XX degrees they go on the feed, XX degrees spurs spawning?

Thanks,
