Subject: [VFB] Cutting Open Cell Foam -- enough is enough!

The original subject of Cutting Open Cell foam has disappeared Some time
back, I'm sad to say, but the Subject line has stayed on, like it has a life of
its own.. When we change the subject, please change the subject line to reflect
the current topic. I had to wade through no less than "7" foams on subject
line, but all were on a different subject.

Jerry: I think that is a great looking fly, and agree with Jim that it
should be called a "Chili Popper".. Is that two bodies glued together?? Or one
body??? Thanks, Chuck

Everyone I know who glues sheets together either uses the spray
adhesive or the rubber cement. I still like working with the white cylinders
or preformed bodies.
For the tear drop bodies, like Alan I buy mine. I imagined they're
punched out by some automated process.
I saw an interesting pattern at a local sportsman show over the winter
using the tear drop bodies. The guy was kind enough to show me how to tie it.
This is what my version looks like. It uses the large bodies.
