Eddie: For bass around here, mine is a white belly (top color) a dark olive middle, and a chartreuse top (bottom color when tied on a clouser.. I've also had good luck with small one's (tied on a size 8 hook) for bluegills using white and hot pink..But, I have never fished the type and area you are referring, although we do have striped bass here..HTH.. I know I don't post much, but looking for some advice. I am just getting back into tying, and really focusing on the clouser minnow for this summer. I will be targeting stripers (rockfish, striped bass) in the chesapeake bay, along with bluefish and spanish mackerals. Does anyone have any favorite colors for their clousers? I've been tying one of everything I can think of, but I'm sure I'm missing some "HOT" colors out there. Maybe we can do a clouser swap? -Eddie
