I was looking at the Pentax Optio and the Olumpus 725SW. Both pocket size, both waterproof. Olympus was also "shockproof". I ended up going for the Olympus, reviews seemed to be about the same for both. Finding the Olympus at Costco was a deciding factor. :)
I've been happy with it so far, pictures turn out nice, definitely performs just fine taking pictures underwater. I miss the normal eye viewer but the LCD screen has been worked so that it's visible in sunlight. I can see what's on the screen in bright sun with polarized sunglasses. I bought it specifically for fishing since I mostly wade or fish out of a kayak. It's also good for the pool & waterparks with the kids. Fits in my pocket, durable and waterproof, takes a decent picture - works for me. I'm sure the pentax provides a similar experience. ken On 6/24/07, Rene Zillmann <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote:
