Does anyone in VFB land have a used pedestal vice they would lend me so I can send it to a friend while he is in Iraq. He has tables in his trailer but doesn't have one that will accomadate his clamp vise.
Tell your buddy to take a piece of 1" wood....or 1/2" or 3/4" plywood and clamp it to the table with C-clamps and leave about an inch lip sticking off the front of the table. He can clamp his vise to that.
