Wrong again Oh Grand Demented One !!  South of Central Florida, all the
slams are defined as Tarpon, Bonefish, Permit.  Jacks are not mentioned for
2 reasons.  

1.  If you catch a permit you have caught a Jack &
B. the other jacks  (bar, Horse, common, etc are not targeted as
    a sports species.)  

In central Florida, down to South Florida, on both coasts, we have an
inshore slam, that consists of a redfish, a sea trout and a snook. 
Add a Tarpon to that and you have the GRAND SLAM.

If anything would make a 4 fish slam in the keys and Central America it
would be a snook.  I do not know why the local vernacular excludes snook,
but it does.
