In the Keys the snook makes 4. On the West Coast of Fl it is generally
snook, tarpon, trout and redfish.

I just counted the fish species he caught- don't know the Belize regs for
a
slam.
There are many kinds of Jacks, just like trout.
And four types (species) of trout make for a slam.
And in Wyoming, there is a 'Cutt-slam'- 4 sub-species of just the
cutthroat
trout.
So, since Jack Crevalle are very common in the shallows, it could be that
one.
