Cat fur isn't that far off.
I would mix the furs. I saw something a while ago that suggested flies
with different types of fur were better than flies with the same type of
fur as each fur behaved different in the water.

I am tying a fly that calls for a wing of white rabbit fur and then a
second wing in front of the first, that is brown rabbit fur.
I have the brown rabbit fur, I do not have any white. What is the
best substitute fur the white rabbit fur. I have white raccoon tail
and white marabou. An additional question is, once having substituted
for the white fur do I then mix the two materials or should I tie both
wings out of the same material.
