Nick: Did you see my posts last winter about having a source for containers which were invented my a friend of mine, designed specifically for "brewing" your own home-made root beer. You need "dry" ice, and root beer extract, sugar and water. This makes super root beer. Several members of this list bought them. Contact me if you are interested....

I think that the best is A&W from the tap but their bottled version is good also. I open the bottle, take a couple slugs and then freeze them. If you don't reduce the volumn spme, they will burst when they thaw out. When I go fishing, I take a couple out and take them with me. After a few hours, they are ready to guzzle.
