Nick: Did you see my posts last winter about having a source for containers
which were invented my a friend of mine, designed specifically for "brewing"
your own home-made root beer. You need "dry" ice, and root beer extract, sugar
and water. This makes super root beer. Several members of this list bought
them. Contact me if you are interested....

A&W was actually the one introducing me to this new beautiful world. We were
taking redneck Jim Hatfield into town so he could get his daily root beer. I
had one too and totally fell in love. So that, together with the fact that
the sun had left a severe "fingerprint" the first day on the river, is why
some people refer to me as 'Nick, the Swedish Redneck'.

The girl let me have an A&W glass as a souvenir... I think it was Tony who
sent me the jelly beans.

I think that the best is A&W from the tap but their bottled version is good
also. I open the bottle, take a couple slugs and then freeze them. If you
don't reduce the volumn spme, they will burst when they thaw out. When I go
fishing, I take a couple out and take them with me. After a few hours, they
are ready to guzzle. Nothing better than an A&W with slush.

That is sweet. I believe I'll go get a root beer out
of the fridge and have one with you.
