Allan,

That's a great tip and heads up for those clubs down east that might be
able to snag him for a night.

Indeed, since last years visit from Dave Hughes and Jim Schollmeyer up
North in Edmonton
earlier this year, I looking forward to the Skip Morris and Rick Hafele
program we
have coming up on January 19-20, 2008.

Subject: [VFB] Program Chairs - FYI

All of you guys (& gals) who are program chairpersons for your club, we
had a great program last night. Jay "Fishy" Fullum.

He gave a great program on fly tying and I think got some of our
non-tyers motivated to learn how to tie.

"Fishy" is a great guy with a good sense of humor and a really creative
fly tyer.

Hmmmmm. Maybe that's why he's listed as FlyTyer Magazine's Creative Fly
Tying Editor (or something like that).

Just wanted to give any prog. chairs a heads-up.

By the way, although he lives near Albany, NY, he will be spending
2-3 months this winter in
the Fort Worth, TX, area. That'll cut way down on his travel expense
for folks in mid-continent all the way out to the Left Coast.

cheers,
a.
