Grey Goose herl is the same kind of thing as pheasant herl that is used for the PTN but comes from a goose. Also to come from Sawyer was the Grey Goose Nymph which called for goose Herl and he specified farm yard goose. I don't know if Canada Goose can be used for this pattern as it looks to light in the picture, I would say farm goose again which is lighter.

Does anyone know what this is? It would seem that gray dubbing or yarn could
be used as a suitable substitute.
