IMPORTANT NOTICE!!
You have probably all noticed an absence of email for the VFB List.
About a week ago our service provider decided to pull the plug on the
Majordomo server. No prior notice was given. It was just dead! I
talked to them on the phone and was told that that service was
discontinued and tough luck buddy.
I subsequently set up a replacement VFB Mail list at Google. Because
the previous service was abruptly discontinued, I had no way of
contacting current members to inform them of the changes. All the
lost souls from the former list are slowly finding their way back
home due to the efforts of all the currently active VFBers. But there
are many of you still missing!
Please join us at our new home! It's pretty simple... just go to...

...and sign on. You will be sent a confirmation email. Just click on
the appropriate link and you should again be onboard.
The new Google system is pretty nice. There is no advertising. You
have the option of receiving individual posts or a daily digest. You
can even read the post via the web if you don't want to receive them
via email. You can easily go no mail when you head out for an
extended fishing journey. There is an area to upload photos to share
with other members. And probably lots of other stuff that I haven't
yet discovered.
I hope that you will ALL come over and join us at our new home.
For some reason this list was reactivated... but it won't be for
long... as I intend to curtail this service provider.
