Yeah, I'm tending to think that this problem is related to the external 
amux chip, as TC mentioned.  Since this is on the flyvideo 2000 cards 
and on the flyvideo 3000 FM cards, and both of those require(d) 
different sound configs to work, that's where we need to be looking...

If someone tries out the GPIO suggestion from the other email on a FV3K 
FM and that proves the goods, a seperate FV3K FM card type might be the 
go - damn them for not putting the EEPROMs on them!!
