OK I have a number of problems trying to use this card, and hopefully someone out there can help me.
I have grabbed the latest driver from http://bytesex.org/saa7134/ and associated v4l patches. Plus I built xawtv 3.84. My system is RH 7.2 on a Athlon 2k+ with 2.4.20 patched kernel. Video card is a TNT2-M64 with TV Out using the binary NVidia driver so I get XV support. Right down to the issues. 1. How can I force xawtv or another viewer/capture tool to use NICAM audio as the input. It appears to sometimes work with xawtv 2. Can't get capture to work with xawtv or any other tool 3. Tried capture/playback with Mplayer, and it crashes mplayer. 4. Haven't found a tool that can get the radio to work. Tried the xawtv radio app and gnomeradio. 5. Anyone tried tvtime with this card? I get alternating picture/green display. Also it appears to make the video driver unstable. Any tips/help appreciated. I'm attempting to build a PVR using this card.
