I have still problems with tda9840. Dmesg shows me stuff like:

tda9840: chip_command 0x40287611

tda9840: chip_command 0x40287611
but it looks, that nothing change - I have always mono sound
is it possible my AVerMedia TV Phone 98 has "diffrent tda9840" ?
anyway it worked months ago with old bttv...
