If you don't have a lot of disk bandwidth (like I don't), you'd probably like a 
motion-JPEG card, such as the Pinnacle Studio DC10+ (the card I'm currently using).  
It can grab more frames than a Bt8x8 can on a bandwidth-limited system like mine, but 
post-production can be a bit of a bear.  You'd have to also use an external tuner, 
such as a VCR, since the DC10+ only has a composite and an S-Video input.
