Just updated from 0.2.7 to 0.2.8 for my saa7134 based
FlyVideo 3000 and the video somehow seems a lot
softer. Anyone else got this.

Also Audio locking appears to be a bit better,
although I have to specify 5.5MHz range on the module
parameters otherwise I have lots of problems. I'm
based in New Zealand which uses B/G PAL with German
Nicam.

Nicam appears to lock a lot better, previously it
wandered between Mono and Stereo a lot. Plus the
overally quality of the image has improved. Until
recently I tended to perform a lot of captures over
composite in from a Nicam VCR source to make sure I
had a solid picture and Stereo Audio.

Now a couple of minor niggles

1 - Can we get a reasonable howto on using PCI based
audio rather than using the sound card input for these
devices. I still haven't got this working myself.

2 - Get the LIRC related GPIO patches included.

3 - An option to Force/Lock audio to the Stereo signal
so if there are problems the tuner will try to
re-acquire immediately. This might not be required
with 0.2.8 as I haven't used this release in anger
yet.

Well I hope this release is stable as i'm off on
holiday for 2 weeks and I plan on using ffmpegrec to
capture a large number of shows while i'm away.

Steve
