Europe. Several of us did come from Europe last time and, because most
sane people don't go to NYC in January, tickets were VERY cheap (I
paid 350 euros). The blizzard did not disrupt anything we were doing
(the subway ran just fine), and made it all the more fun.
So NYC in January worked out very well for me, and I'd vote for that again.
