So far, that hasn't been the case. Instead, lower sales has resulted
in the traditional labels asking "who is stealing our music? We must
punish our customers!"
I am a big fan of respecting/following copyright, but I also have used
music illegally in my vlog entries. As I understand it, a clip of less
than 30 seconds is considered fair use if it's used to sell the full
song, but anything else is not. Well, I use more than 30 seconds in my
vlogs. Have to stop that, really.
