so, VLC does handle the wmv codec for windows version only... but I am unclear if you can actually play wmv files.
clarification?

also, has anyone tried using the VLC browser plugins for IE and Firefox?  I've been meaning to experiment.

re: plugs -  all good...  maybe use your sig?  sure, us regulars  dont need to read it all the time, but you need to think about the other 1000 people and newbies in the group... and FireANT is great software, proven to lead the pack so far.  do yo thing.
