I like the idea of you using videos to explain aspects of your site.
especially if you include transcriptions that are easy to search, and
read as an alternative. I think the money thing is a little
uncomfortable. It's one thing when a *company* is paying you $100 to
make something, but another when its a friend and/or collegue. A
simple link back to my site from a that video I created for your use
would be more seductive to me, personally, because that's a friendly
gesture that doesn't put any money between us. I may be a little
slanted in my view since many of my contemporary personal stress is
coming from issues involving money between friends, but I really think
people will make videos for you happily, without the monetary
incentive. As a side suggestion, if you have extra money to support
vloggers, perhaps start with people who are asking for help, like Mica
on Hello?. You could suggest that she make you a video for your site.
