You go harry! Get that nasty he who must not be named.
LOL! :P
In all honesty though I agree, there's a lot of anti-MSM angst out
there. 50+ years of eating B.S. and then ads, well 30 in my case. I
sometimes get a little annoyed at the whole complaining thing but the
hell with it. Let's continue to dislike and hate MSM for all it's
worth. I'm not letting them off easy for a lifetime of pushing B.S. in
my face. I'm going to hold my grudge for as long as it takes, which is
until I can live my life free to think clear thoughts, flip on the
computer and watch news and entertainement that interests me with a
single click without all the B.S. A world beyond ads and devoid of
homogenized and centralized programming. A world where media is
dominated by smart decentralized programing and content (read
completely peer-based content and channels). NO MERCY!
BTW, On a side note I've been checking out Odeo. What really blows my
socks off about it (and how indirectly relates to this), is that in
addition to the single-click subscription mechanism they have a single
click "queuing" mechanism which I'm really in love with. It's another
step in increased efficiency.
TO look at it from the bigger picture you add the queueing, to the
tagging, to the play anytime and anywhere and what we're really seeing
is more systems for inter-mediation going into the pipe as well as
coming out of the pipe. All these systems like delicious, flickr,
mefeedia, are all teaching us something about being able to better
"bubble up" content.
BTW, As far as I can see Odeo will work perfectly with video blogs and
ANT. It uses a single RSS feed and pipes all the content in the queue
and all your subscriptions through one feed, so it's completely
aggregator independent. That said, it's still very much in beta. Most
obviously, it only seems to pick up about 1 in every 8 of my video
posts.
