You bring up a good point.

Who would go to the New York Times looking for a blog?

David Pogue fans would.

Subscribers to his emails would.

People who don't know what RSS is would.

My mom would.

The Kong is King and Superman movie videos from behind the scenes don't have RSS 2.0 feeds and seem to be very popular.

RSS feeds and aggregators are useful for some, but I think the majority of internet users find videos the same way they find interesting blogs and blog posts.

<x-tad-bigger>The fact that his weekly vlogs on the New York Times website are not RSS feeds really shows the importance of things like FireANT.  Who would go to the New York Times looking for a vlog?  We really need to have RSS feeds and aggregators to know what is out there.
