Yeah the upload function in WordPress is kinda funky. I have never been able to use it to upload a large video file. I did cange the file types and sizes it accepts but it doesn't seem to work. I can't figure it out. There was something on the WP support blog about that function being problematic with certain hosts, so maybe it's my host. I haven't looked too deeply into the problem. It would be handy if it worked.
