Id urge extreme caution before using something like vlogmap to make assumptions about the worldwide distribution of videobloggers.
There are communities on the net that we are almost entirely isolated from due to language barriers. I bet theres a lot more going on with video in Japan than I can hope to know about, because I only speak English.
