Yes. If you export 4:3 footage, it comes out at 320x240 H.264 up to 768kbits/sec with AAC-LC audio. The framerate is the same as the original file
The file is saved with the extension .m4v However Im sure this is the same as normal .mp4, they just used the alternative file extension because that is defaulted to open in iTunes 6 when you double-click on them. If you export 16:9 footage, for me it ended up at 320x180, rest of the spec is the same as for 4:3 As an experiemnt I renamed my gardenpod.m4v file that was created with ipod quicktime 7.0.3 export, to gardempod.mp4 It works in a browser, and thankfully also seems to fast start (progressive download): http://www.unquack.com/gardenpod.mp4 AS its h264 you need QT7, bt if this stuff makes lots of people upgrade to QT7, it might help everyone to move to H264 anyway. Therefore if the fast start thing is OK and people are happy with the bitrate/res, theres no reason why youd have to have 2 versions of your videoblog, you could just make everything the ipod version.
