Out here on the left coast there is http://www.calawyersforthearts.org/

It is a non-profit organization providing artists, creative folks and
alternative media activists (my words) access to legal information.
They also have workshops in art/legal issues including the ever
popular "Copyright and the Law" and "What Every Photographer (and
Vlogger) Should Know About the Law."

There is legal referral service and a link to Powells for self-help
legal books.

I would think that NY would have an similar organization.

"The Hannidy and Colmes Show" about three years ago.  It was one of my
"better" appearances--except for the fact I weighed about thirty
pounds more in those days.

appear.  I described what Hannidy was like off camera as fairly and
accurately as I possibly could.

to me that I have the right to publish a video of my appearance on a
TV show, especially if I am not doing anything commercial with it.
Don't we have the right to share our TV appearances with our friends,
fellow vloggers and Internet voyeurs?

around questions such as these.  Does anyone have any idea or know a
lawyer who might be able to fight for any of us to use "our own image"
as we please?
