If he is doing a great job of being a troll, you and others responses
to his points have suceeded in pushing me towards defending him and
indeed siding with him.

I was simply stating that this issue was discussed here a long time
ago, and that I was one of the people who moaned about it. It fell
into a whole discussion about directories, back in the
pre-itunes-video era.

I see no reason to be defensive on this issue. I both acknowledged
that creating an open directory is not a trivial matter, and that it
was fireants choice what they did. And as far as I can tell, you have
acknowledged that the situation is less than ideal, or there would be
no need to fix it.
