I'm one of the many people who thought they invented this great idea of vlogging, only to discover it already existed. (thank goodness, because it made it so much easier for me to get started). I'm just a beginner, and not very computer literate, so I have a few questions, particularly about compression and frames per second, etc.
Question 1: For instance, i just uploaded a video with some fast action, in accordance with the compression guidelines laid out in freevlog.com. The motion was very blotchy. I reuploaded using "best" compression, rather than medium, but the results were identical. Should I be changing the frames per second instead? something else?
Question 2: Is there an info site where I can learn more, rather than bothering you folks?
Question 3: I'm a big fan of Scratchvideo (crule.typepad.com/scratch). She seems to get VERY clear images which do not take long to load. Is this because her camera is better, or compression factors (i am assuming the latter) How does she do it???
I use a Mac. Thanks in advance for any assistance,
