Hi Harold, the best way is you export using full quality from the export using quicktime menu, it will come out massive in size though. This will give you a .dv version of your movie which you can drap and drop directly onto an idvd project. I always archive this way, I have a dv copy for dvd and a mp4 copy for the internet but i keep both anyway.

hope this is a help

Happy Hanukkah, Merry Christmas, Happy Kwanzaa, and Hilarious Athiesm, everyone,

What is the best quality you can export from iMovie?  Is there an uncompressed format?

Thanks,
