I agree with this.
In fact I've posted a very elegant WordPress FLV plugin here several times.
I think that is a great option for videobloggers. But Flash is not the be all and end all. Other format options for download/syndication are very important.

the important point, to reiterate here.... is NOT to ONLY use flash. But DONT avoid it when you can feasibly incorporate it into your projects.  DO provide mp4 etc...

balance.... experiment.... dont be fooled by partial truths which can end up limiting your creativity and use of available technologies.
