I've recently discovered WireImage™ Hollywood Podcast from WireImage
Video featuring the Hollywood-Entertainment Scene. They are using H.
264 at a 3 x 2 aspect ratio that scales up to a 1920 x 1200 monitor
from top to bottom leaving a small pair of black spaces on each SIDE
of the image 60 pixels wide each. They play on Video iPods. They look
like they may be mastered in 720p or 1080i HDV. Does anyone know this
Podcast or are there any members of the WireImage™ Video Podcast
lurking here?
I am interested to know what dimensions they are compressing to from
what sort of masters. The bit rate nets about 5 MB a minute. They are
featured on the Podcast Directory. Only started after the Video iPod
shipped.
Anyone notice this outstanding and slick Video Podcast yet? This is a
totally professional podcast. This post is not intended to illicit
insults from do-it-yourselfers. It is probably being paid for by
public relations firms who represent the entertainment talent. The on-
screen talent is recognizable from the E! channel. They just covered
Sundance and the SAG awards. They are doing an OUTSTANDING job. I
love this Video Podcast.
