I look at myspace as kind of the Fad web. It's not the real web, it's a close aproximation of the web, but it's inside a box that's owned by someone. Myspace has recreated a lot of the functionality that exists on the real Web and made it simpler (and less functional) but combined them all into a simple interface. It's simply a package that somehow is slightly more useful than the some of it's parts to a lot of people. I predect it will be popular for another 15 minutes or so. Reminds me alot of the community aspects of the AOL of old.
