Aside from one or two of my very earliest vlog posts, which I think I've removed, there aren't any uses of infringing music or movies on my vlogs. I don't own any illegal MP3s-- all my MP3s are ripped from CDs that I bought, or were purchased on iTunes. I don't own any illegal movies. In fact, I only downloaded BitTorrent for the first time to document it for the book. (BTW: I think videoblogging can legitimize BitTorrent, if it were done right). Basically, it's not different, and I've consistently tried to come down on the side of creators' rights, here and pretty much everywhere online. I *am* a creator. My personal views on infringement are so different from everyone else's my age, I'm constantly shocked at what people think is okay. But then, I grew up in a family of writers and lawyers-- it would have been very hard to not get a sense of why it's wrong to copy a book or other media in that environment. --Stephanie (not an anarchist) -- Stephanie Bryant [EMAIL PROTECTED] Blogs, vlogs, and audioblogs at: http://www.mortaine.com/blogs Yahoo!
