That's what I've seen in my limited video work on a pc - maybe someone who does it all the time will chime in.

Has anyone used the AAC audio encoder for Avid Free DV? I have to use
this horrible software to get a mov produced. I am seriously buying
QuickTime, but haven't yet.
I don't see AAC listed in the audio encoding options and I've tried
several of th ones that are listed and sometimes I get reports that
people can't hear the audio, and sometimes blip's transcoding doesn't
get the audio becuse I am using some bizzare audio encoder?
Any suggestions, incantations, etc? (yes, I know, 'go buy QT'...not
an option right now, just spent money we don't have on a new dv
camcorder)
Exporting from Premiere doesn't give me the Fast-Start (compressed
header) that I need. Unless I am missing something.
mucho gracias in advance
