Sounds like bad HTML somewhere in one of your blog entries.
If you have an <img> tag, it should end with a slash like this:

<img src=""http://my/image/jpg">http://my/image/jpg" />

XML is much more strict than HTML, and thus you must make sure that
your HTML is well-formed.

I submitted the ...Blog URL.. by mistake, instead of the   ..Feed URL..

Everything's OK now.
