Wow, I didn't know.
I saw Gmini's at Fry's, so I guess you can get them there.
I noticed it doesn't have Wireless connectivity, like the PSP (WiFi).
Is there a USB accessory that can give it WiFi capability? (like those Linksys dongles, that plug into USB ports? I got one for my TIVO).
I think I'm gonna get a Gmini 402, & play with it.

I want to get one to play with. I just got a Sony PSP, & want to transcode my .mp4 videos to PSP format. See I saw the Gemini at Fry's, & it looks interesting. That AV500 looks really sexy, although bigger than the more compact Gemini. Is anyone using the HP iPaq 3715? It has a builtin camera (which can do video)..that can *record* pics/video. Videora Converter didn't seem to have any settings for the Gmini, though I may still use Videora to search for video online. (I dig its integrated search engine.) I can't believe how fast MediaCoder is transcoding; it's truly amazing! This is how it should be...Now I'm going to take my Gmini down to my local cafe and see how well the video turned out... Michael Sullivan or anyone who knows, What do you find to be the best way to translate your video downloads to the format which the Archos players can play? I've got an Archos Gmini 402 camcorder/player, and though it includes VirtualDub software, the software isn't able to translate .mov files. So I've been opening my .mov downloads in QuickTime Pro, converting to .avi, and then using VirtualDub to convert to the type of .avi file the Gmini wants. This isn't terribly difficult, but I'm thinking there must be an easier way -- a one-step process, rather than this two-step method. Anyone know? Thank you, Harold
