I'm sure the algorithm is secret. But I think it has something to do
with, number of digs + the interval at which the diggs came in and
I'm sure that there are some other less obvious factors as well. So
if a story gets 30 digs in an hour it will probably have a better
chance to make it to the front page than one that gets the same
number of digs over 24 hours. Also there have been rumors
circulating that there are certain superusers on digg who's diggs
have more weight than everyone else.
