We've used the iRivers and find them very adequate, small, and
affordable. A lot of different models out there, so you can grab
whatever you find. Price varies by MB storage in part. The software
interface is kludgy but otherwise they are a good value I think. Just
pay attention to the mic input vs the headphone input - not that
clearly marked on these small devices, and using the wrong hole can
really screw up an interview!
