I've spoken with google content people and with a new mobile video company called Zannel about hosting videos in each of their domains... of course, the festival would simply receive visibility, but as schlomo puts it... our content has value... especially, if people are making money off the shell advertising... and there are dozens of hosters and playlist possibilities... the last thing I really want to do is manage a dozen+ "profiles" etc... though I think comments are a really awesome functionality... I LOVE flickr... I'm addicted, in fact. I wish there was a video site more like flickr... people say that all the time, right?
to make this a little easier, here are some options... what combinations would you choose and why? A. set up a SLOMO Video vlog page with google advertising B. put them all on one huge long page with 100 revver embeds C. do it one-a-day style D. spread the videos to all the host companies that are willing to publicize and promote the content and the project E. put a link on the page to a "collection" of high res quicktimes on archive.org so people could reuse F. put a slate at the beginning of each video with festival and filmmaker credits G. (add your own!) H. I. Z. all of the above -- ryan junell junell.net slomovideo.com aim bertryanjunell cell 415.320.BITS [Non-text portions of this message have been removed]
