When Joost has.... ok, for sake of argument i'll say... -IF- Joost has a
great library of content that includes a plethora of content from indie
production houses along side with some MSM... and its brought to you on
almost any platform... streaming TV quality video using smart technology (we
know the core is solid)... Then it's something that I DO want. Don't know
about saving the world or anything like that but I'm not going to "not be
interested" in it just because it isn't directly related to videoblogs or
RSS or being allowing you to upload or remix media and so on. So yeah, it
is a different category but it's also related to net video in general which
is why its being talked about. It doesnt have to do with "Communication" or
the "Conversation" that blogging brings us... at least not yet. I know.
But sometimes content is still king.

Make it easy to move videoblogs, YouTube clips etc. to my TV - then we'll be

Maybe, but if I want, I can plug in my puter to a TV and "watch the
internet". Cannot most people do this if it is so important?
But most of the -clips- quality is not meant for TVs, so I dont really
bother doing that.
Besides, a 17inch laptop screen or 20inch desktop monitor is fine by me ;)

The key really is about longtail verses midtail verses MSM content etc. i
think we all enjoy a mix.
Whats great about vlog tech, especially in the context of "shows", is that
it allows you to gain a foothold... put your stuff out there, build an
audience, practice and maybe open up opportunities so that you can spend
more time and more money on more content of higher quality. While a vlog
can always live as a companion presence... its logical to expect some good
productions to move on and use HD and get syndicated on services like Joost
and many others, while still maintaining a web presence with a feed.
