I hear you loud and clear, Heath, which is why I wanted to make sure everyone understood that barcampusa encompasses EVERYONE, not just videobloggers.
It also does not address my heartfelt need for a Video Vertigo Summit, which I may just find a venue for separately. Also, though I have some NYC leads for an event space, nothing is in stone/signed. The reason the last vloggercon was held in San Francisco was because nothing was getting finalized in nyc and I knew I could throw it here. Throwing it again in SF is a last resort to me, and I would rather throw it anywhere but here. Everyone get their concerns out earlier than later so we can come up with some sort of consensus. Right now, I'm hearing: New York, Camping. Am I also hearing Inclusiveness rather than being an extension of another event? Regardless, barcampusa is going to happen and videoblogging will be a major part of it (because that's what I want at barcampusa!:) just my 2 cents Schlomo http://schlomolog.blogspot.com http://webshots.com/is/spotlight http://hatfactory.net http://evilvlog.com On 2/27/07, Heath <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > > > Just my 2 cents here and not sure if anyone cares but....I think > combining vloggercon with another event right now would be a > mistake.
