I set up a London Videoblogging Meetup on Meetup.com a couple of weeks ago, and have come back from holiday to find a dozen or so people have already found it and signed up. Brilliant.
I've wanted a UK/London meetup for ages, and since no one else was doing it, I thought I'd better. Since I have a pathological aversion to heirarchy and organization, it pains me a little to be listed as the Organizer, but I hope we can learn from what others have done and make London meetups whatever and whenever people want them to be. Lots of different needs and wants expressed by those who have signed up so far, both commercial and non-commercial, experienced and newbie. So. Now we need to find a date for our first meet.
