I do love that twittervideion.

I've been admiring twitter from afar for awhile... I have an account
but I'm just lurking.

I do see... especially have today in fact in one instance what the
brilliance is in twitter. In many ways breaking posts down into more
granular bits makes it far more interesting and effective... then
say... long rambling emails on mailing lists... or 4000 word essays on
blog posts... those do have their points... but I've found that
twitter doesn't become shallower or stupider because of the limit of
140 characters on post depth. Instead ideas my carry out over the
course of many posts. Sometimes days. There's no obsessive need to
capture it all in one post... so it's often times more fluid, more
conversational, more enjoyable to read.

Oddly I heard three podcast in a row yesterday completely at random
about twitter. One was NPR, one was g'day world from Australia by the
Podshow network... and I forget what the third was.

The point is twitter talk is hilarious the fandom is reaching a fever
pitch. I like to tell people I wasn't on twitter five minutes and
steve woz was my friend... the actuall wozniak... blabbering about
segway polo matches and all.

It's freaking histarical... to bad it can't last.

Can it?

Lord knows I wish it could... but I'm afraid like any good thing it's
going to loose it's brilliance after it grows to big... and stop being
so fun interesting and exciting. To many people we don't know... to
much noise... and above all to much of a walled garden.
