Hi all, A few questions I thought ye more experienced might be able to help out with.
I¹ve just spent days trying to upload videos to different sites ( Argh. Lots of errors on my part though e.g. uploading the video then noticing a spelling mistake. Recompressing. Then having to figure out how to delete your video on all the different sites. Humbug) Anyways, I used Tubemogul. The auto-publishing to 12 sites seems to work ok, but it won¹t recognize my passwords for 3 sites. Have no idea why. I tested the logins to the 3 sites and I can get in fine with them. There goes more hours investigating that. In the meantime I was wondering with Blip do we have to have the 16:9 ratio? I don¹t want the black to appear on either side of my 4:3 video. I want the video to fill up the whole screen. Any suggestions? Also, the video from Blip seems to take a really long time to load. Is that normal? Actually today is much faster than yesterday, so perhaps that¹s an intermittent thing? The other weirdness whenever I preview it in Wordpress, then edit the post some more, in the next preview it shows a different video embedded. ??? Seems to be skipping to the same one each time, and it isn¹t one of mine. Strangeness with Revver too. I embed the code the site creates for me into my blog and it tells me the video isn¹t there. I dunno why, because I have received emails from Revver tells me it is there, and I can see it. And last question. I remember way back a huge backlash against Veoh¹s terms and copyright. Have they changed it to the list¹s satisfaction? It¹s one of the sites you can post to using Tubemogul. Thanks all. I wanted to do a comparison with the different embeds on all my different blogs and sites. For now I have just used the Youtube embeds and 1 Blip with the black sidebars which make the video show smaller. The youtube ones look crappy but they work and are bigger. Good article here too http://www.techcrunch.com/2007/07/24/9-ways-to-build-your-own-social-network /. Still am investigating though. Seems these 2 are the front runners.
